[3DS] Fire Emblem If Special Edition [ENG Patched] v3.0 [JPN] +CIA

Fire Emblem: Fates (ファイアーエムブレムif Faia Emuburemu Ifu Fire Emblem if in Japan) is a Japanese tactical role-playing game for the Nintendo 3DS, developed by Intelligent Systems, and published by Nintendo. It is the fourteenth game in the Fire Emblem series. It was released on June 25, 2015 in Japan, and will be released in 2016 outside of Japan.

This title features the first title split, in which two different versions of the game exist, each one with a unique story. Fire Emblem: Fates: Birthright (ファイアーエムブレムif 白夜王国 Fire Emblem if: Byakuya Oukoku Fire Emblem if: White Night Kingdom) will follow the story of the Avatar aligning with Hoshido and Fire Emblem: Fates: Conquest (ファイアーエムブレムif 暗夜王国, Fire Emblem if: Anya Oukoku Fire Emblem if: Dark Night Kingdom) will follow the story of the Avatar allying with Nohr Kingdom instead. A limited edition version was released in Japan, containing both storylines plus a third storyline titled Fire Emblem Fates: Invisible Kingdom (ファイアーエムブレムif インビジブル・キングダム), which will also be DLC and will involve the player choosing neither side, will be released concurrent with the other versions.

Some things to mention is that not everything is translated, such as supports. There are certainly some support conversations translated, but definitely not all. The translation team is still working on getting everything done.

Make sure if you're playing on gateway that you're updated to the latest emunand. I just tested on a 9.2 emunand but it gave me a infinite 3ds loading screen. If you're having that problem, it's time to update. DON'T UPDATE SYSNAND FOR GODDESS' SAKES. Triple check if you see GW in front of your system version when going into settings first!!

Edit: Support conversations that are available mostly include the royal siblings. Anything other than that is most likely untranslated.
This rom does not include Invisible Kingdom Path, as that is DLC.

Edit: I tried making the DLC work, but no dice. The card2 version will have the third path option appear, but you will not be able to play it past chapter 7 unless you have the DLC installed. If you've downloaded the translated IK DLC, you will not be able to install and play it when in Gateway mode.

Others as well as myself recommend using Rxtools CFW as it uses the same emuNand as Gateway, so it's easily interchangeable when you want to play IK. Convert this ROM into a CIA, or find the already CIA version on this website. Find rxtools.dat, copy it to your SD card, and go to launch.rxtools.net in your sysnand browser. Launch Rxmode and install Fire Emblem as well as the DLC with your favorite CIA installer. Depending on your SD card space available you might need to move around some files. You should be able to play IK then, but again, only on CFW.

Again, please note, IK is not included in this .3ds ROM. You will be able to see the option and play through chapter 6, but you can't go any farther than that in terms of translated game.
